world´s oldest dog turns 21!

Imagine being a whopping 147 years old. In dog years that is, but still! A dachshund called Chanel has been named the world´s oldest dog by the Guinness Book of Records and today she celebrated her 21st birthday. I guess that means she could have her first legal glass of champagne now that she is of age!

Owner, Denice Shaughnessy stated on the Today show: “She’s doing fine. The vet says he’s never seen a dog her age do so much.”
