Obama Dog Bo

It was supposed to be a bit of a surprise, but perfectly behaved First Portie Bo has arrived in the White House last Saturday. Malia and Sasha Obama got their Portuguese water dog from the same kennel as senator Ted Kennedy got his Porties, so this is already rather a royal pooch. So what happened to getting a dog from a pound?! They´re going "to make a donation"…

I must say I´m a bit disappointed that the Obamas missed this great opportunity to promote getting a dog from a pound: all those lovely puppies in pounds all over the world need homes! Not just "a donation"!
